AI-Powered Translation: Revolutionizing Practices with Large Language Models

Unlock the potential of large language models (LLMs) in the translation industry with this comprehensive one-day workshop. Designed for professionals looking to integrate AI into translation workflows, this session will cover practical applications of AI, improving translation efficiency, enhancing quality control, and reshaping educational models.

Module 1: AI-Powered Remote Simultaneous Interpretation Solution
Explore how large models revolutionarily enhance the remote simultaneous interpretation experience. This module demonstrates AI-assisted functions such as real-time speech transcription, real-time terminology prompting, and speaker intent summarization. Learn how these tools provide “super assistance” to interpreters, enhancing their interpretation accuracy and fluency while reducing workload.

Module 2: AI Transformation for LSPs: Quantifying Cost-Efficiency and Project Management
Focus on the ROI (Return on Investment) concerns central to corporate management. This module shares insights on building AI-human collaboration workflows, quantitatively evaluating efficiency gains and cost savings before and after AI integration, and discusses transformations in project management models, quality monitoring systems, and evolving skill requirements in the AI era.

Module 3: Multimodality and Audiovisual Translation: Unlocking New Experiences in Audiovisual Translation with Large Models
Go beyond plain text translation and enter a new era of audiovisual translation. This module demonstrates how large models can accelerate video speech recognition, subtitle translation/generation, and intelligent erasure/filling of on-screen text (e.g., signs, posters), significantly enhancing delivery speed and innovation capabilities for audiovisual translation projects.

Module 4: Building Your Custom Digital Human from Scratch
Learn how to leverage personal works and style guides as “data assets” to train a “digital human” assistant that reflects your distinct style and professional expertise, using fine-tuning or agent technologies. This online assistant will serve as your 24/7 “digital apprentice”, helping maintain stylistic consistency across repetitive tasks.

Module 5: A Practical Guide to Reconstructing Core Enterprise Workflows with Large Models
This module provides an end-to-end blueprint for upgrading. This module goes over step-by-step how to systematically integrate the solution for the entire process module into the enterprise’s core workflows, breaking down departmental silos and creating a more agile and intelligent global operation system.

Module 5: The Translator/Interpreter’s Evolution: Becoming an AIGC-Enhanced Super Professional
This module is designed for language professionals aspiring to transcend tool usage and shape their core competitiveness. This module delves into the transition from “linguistic artisan” to “AI curator” and “creative strategist”, harnessing AIGC to achieve exponential growth in personal capabilities and become an indispensable super professional in the market.
